Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director, Finance and Business Administration, you will

Supervise and coordinate all aspects of student transportation operations, including responsibility for day-to-day operation of school buses

Monitor the operations and assure efficient performance in compliance with the regulations and according to the policies, guidelines and procedures. Confer with relevant parties on student transportation problems, procedures, and requirements and recommends or initiates appropriate actions

Manage the service agreement with the vendor and oversee any contract issues including pricing, renewal, and contract terms negotiation. Administer the tendering process

Liaise with the bus company in the setting of bus routes, revision of bus routes, bus scheduling

Provide excellent services to all users, communicate effectively with stakeholders including parents, students, staff, bus company and government authorities. Maintain a positive relationship with parents and students, regularly meet with them for coordination, problem solving and planning purposes. Keep the parents informed of any route change, schedule change or timing change of the bus trip.

Review and investigate serious student or bus operator problems and recommend or initiate appropriate action and ensure prompt resolution of problems

Prepare correspondence on student transportation issues as required. Answer mail and phone requests for information on any bus issues. Coordinate with the relevant parties for the transportation of students with special needs

Analyse current and long-term student transportation requirements and provides plans for meeting requirements and improving operations

Maintain safety standards in compliance with regulations for insurance requirements and monitor the school bus maintenance plan of service providers for the sake of student safety.
Requirements:

Degree in business administration, management, logistics, hospitality or relevant discipline

8 years’ relevant experience in logistics planning, customer service, coordination, execution, problem solving and complaint handling. Exposure with hospitality industry, in particular hotels and travel agencies, is preferred

Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese

Good interpersonal skills, customer oriented, result oriented, flexible, with attention to details

Able to work under pressure and commit to comply with the school’s child protection policy
