Our trip to Tai Shan County, situated in the Western Pearl River Delta region, Guangdong, China was filled with adventure,
history and cultural exchanges.  The focus of the trip, Tai Shan county is home to the largest out migration of Chinese
in the late 19th and early 20th century, which is faithfully preserved in the World heritage village of Zilli.  Students had a chance
to eat local foods, learn about their culture and use their language skills when interacting with the local people, with
three days of our journey undertaken by bicycle.  It was a great first time for the Chinese International School to venture
into this region by the "people's transport", the bicycle.
