**Tristate** group of companies which manufactures and sells a wide range of women's outerwear from
casual wear to high end labels. In 1998, the company produced 7.4 million pieces of garments
from 9 factories located in China, Philippines and Taiwan. The principal market for the company's
products is USA, receiving 81% of the production, followed by Japan and Europe. Thank you Tristate
for allowing our students a close up view on the garment manufacturing industry.
