Year 9 Classroom on the Delta
May 2004

"Classroom on the Harbour component"

Wan Chai.

On May 10, 120  Year 9 students, and 15 teachers set off on a 5 day investigation of the Pearl River Delta.
The first day was spent spent the day on the passenger-vehicle ferry, the Man On.  The purpose of  the 6 hours on
the ship was to provide the students and teachers with an opportunity to learn and appreciate one of Hong
Kong's most valued assets, Victoria Harbour, from an inter-disciplinary perspective.  Students were
challenged with the questions:

"What is my place in the Pearl River Delta?"
