11 Students say they will do in response to:
What can
we do as consumers of fish to support sustainable fisheries?".
Support Education
Campaigns which raise awareness within and beyond schools
Consume only fish
which we know has been caught in a sustainable manner - therefore, when
purchasing/eating fish, ask about it's origin and methods of being harvested.
Consume fish that
have been "raised" on fish farms - need to ask.
Insist on the government
on Hong Kong to ensure a licensing systems that requires sustainable practices
in their fishing methods - advocacy - write letters to the government and
support organizations which advocate such requirements
